Before I started to research I thought about the cartoons that I used to watch.
I remember getting up early on the saturday mornings to get my fix of cartoons on Cartoon Network and one of the other thousands of kid channels, but Cartoon Network was my place to be. I used to watch Biker Mice from Mars, Pirates of Dark Water, Turtles,Snorks, Duck Tales, Scooby Doo, 2 Stupid Dogs, Ren and Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain, Rocko’s Modern Life, Courage the Cowardly dog, Flintstones, Captain Planet, Power Rangers, He-Man and pretty much all of the comic super heroes that were now animated and viewed on the kid channels.
However, to really pick my cartoon I wanted to find one that not only gave nostalgia, but also one that had a character that had a clear goal or personality or a storyline that had a goal in order to pass on the message of the series and the feeling of recognision for the viewer when it comes to watching it years later and get the same feeling from watching the serie as that they did when they were younger.
So off to google we went and typed in “80’s and 90’s cartoons”
The results were rather overwhelming.

The main issue for me in this case was that I can still sing the intros of most cartoons with but I have absolutely no idea what it was really about for most. And with that in mind I couldn’t find the root or life of the cartoon from which I could create a reboot..
Or, as stated in the brief, link them to the golden age animator/illustrator..
